4 COMMON FACTORS THAT ENABLE YOU LIVE YOUR DREAMS One thing I’ve found common to most young people is that they all have a dream. At the least, the picture of a desirable future that they can talk about with excitement. Some ofcourse are fantasy but what makes it a fantasy is the lack of these 4 common factors outlined below. To live your dream, you have to maintain desire, cost, stakeholders and play. 1. DESIRE: A lot of people only have wishes not dreams. If you have a dream, one thing that will stand out for you is the desire to reach your dreams. Do you have this hunger to live your dreams? A desire is a thought with a strong force of want.  It is capable of instigating action. And it has the ability to deliver what is desired to the one that desires it. A desire is a call. TACKLE THE THING I often hear young people say things like ‘Abeg this is not my thing’ (Nigerian Pidgin). Well that’s cool but what is your thing? What is that thing that your life represents? What is your goal? Life is meaningless without a goal. I once heard the man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome say Life without Christ is meaningless. And that burst my bubbles. In fact it got my attention. Your life is a gift to you; and you have the responsibility to make it what you want it to be. But the tragic thing is that quite a lot of people don’t even know what their live represents. They don’t have goals in life. So everything goes. They often times enjoy this song ‘I can’t kill myself’ by a Nigerian musician… LOL Interestingly, I don’t blame them. Life is made to be lived and enjoyed so please don’t kill yourself.
