TACKLE THE THING I often hear young people say things like ‘Abeg this is not my thing’ (Nigerian Pidgin). Well that’s cool but what is your thing? What is that thing that your life represents? What is your goal? Life is meaningless without a goal. I once heard the man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome say Life without Christ is meaningless. And that burst my bubbles. In fact it got my attention. Your life is a gift to you; and you have the responsibility to make it what you want it to be. But the tragic thing is that quite a lot of people don’t even know what their live represents. They don’t have goals in life. So everything goes. They often times enjoy this song ‘I can’t kill myself’ by a Nigerian musician… LOL Interestingly, I don’t blame them. Life is made to be lived and enjoyed so please don’t kill yourself.
